Poor Marvin. :( All that denial! You can just hear it in his voice. Too bad none of your words could get to him, Peterson, and that your experience didn't make anything change within him. I think I speak for all on here when I say that I hope he comes to his senses and realizes that he's okay just the way he is, like all of us have had to.

No more Marvin for three to six months? :( I'll be an old man by the time he gets back ...

Ah Marvin,

Look what LIA did to Peterson!

Can't you sneak a recording device in?

I'll miss your little podcasts - they've been a very welcome distraction from all my boring work recently.

Marvin, I have come to appreciate your sincerity and openness.

I have also learned to appreciate your devotion to the Lord.

I will look forward to hearing from you afterwards.

I hope Marvin will continue to blog...post LIA. I hope Peterson will follow up with you Marvin.

And...I hope people will allow Marvin to share his experiences and revelations without being overly critical...(at least at first!)

Peterson, thanks for the opportunity to learn of and share with Marvin. I know we all wish that the reconciliation of spirituality and sexuality did not have to be so arduous, but speaking for myself, I very much treaured the opportunity I had to experience my faith becoming my own and not just the adoption of another's beliefs.

God bless Marvin and give him peace and joy on the journey. I suspect that LIA is not the final destination.
